Date of Birth Abdur Razzaq bin Yousuf: Shaikh Abdur Razzak bin Yusuf was born in a pious family in the village of Maula Box Hajirtala under Debinagar upazila of Chapainawabganj district in northern Bangladesh.
Education: After studying in the maktab of the area, he read from Nachal Nawabganj Madrasa to Mishkat Sharif, one of the books of Hadith. He then went to India in the hope of higher education and completed the Daura Hadith from Darul Uloom Munathbhanjan in Uttar Pradesh. He has completed Daora Hadith twice. After returning to the country, Fazil and Kamil took part in the examination along with their working life. He passed Kamil in 1st class with Hadith and Tafsir.
Working life: He started his working life by teaching at Al Marakazul Islami in Jannatpur, Gobindaganj, Gaibandha. Since then, Al-Markazul Islami As-Salafi has been serving as a muhaddith in Naodapara Rajshahi since 1996. He has also been the headmaster of this madrasa for about 5 years. During these five years, he made a great contribution to the further development of the Madrasa. He is also a member of the Fatwa Board of the monthly At-Tahrik. He is currently running an organization called Al Jamiatus Salafia.
Khidmat of Deen: Since he has a habit of giving speeches since his student life, besides giving Dars, he continues to invite Deen through speeches. And now he is recognized among the Bengali speaking scholars as a well-known orator. He also gives regular lectures on Dr. Zakir Naik’s Peace TV. He has so far participated in various programs in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, India and the Maldives. An interesting feature of his speech is that he memorized the Arabic verses of the hadith and then translated them. He has memorized about two and a half thousand hadiths. He spoke for two or three hours on each subject, but there was nothing in between except hadith and translation of hadith. As a result, every one of his statements is a Darse Hadith.
His contribution in the field of writing is not less, so far he has written about ten books. One of them is Rasul Doa Chapter and Taojihul Quran. Many of his students are now serving the religion all over the country such as Shaykh Muzaffar bin Muhsin, Shaykh Imamuddin bin Abdul Basir, Shaykh Nurul Islam, Shaykh Abu Taher, Shaykh Abdul Matin Madani, Shaykh Shariful Islam Madani. Besides, there are thousands of people in different parts of Bengal who have listened to Al Hamdulillah and repented from all their sins. There are innumerable young people like this who, after listening to the advice of Shaykh, have stopped wearing pants under their ankles and have sunnat beards on their faces.
It is to be noted that one of the features of Shaykh’s speech is that he used to give exhortations to the common Muslims irrespective of their madhhab and maslak. In particular, his remarks on Paradise, Hell, Resurrection, the ideal family, who suffered the greatest loss, etc., are able to touch the hearts of all Muslims, regardless of the Maslak Madhhab. To spread Islamic education in Bangladesh, he established many institutions such as Al Jamiatus Salafia, Rupganj Narayanganj, Al Madrasatus Salafia, Atmal, Bogra, Birkustia Darul Hadith Salafia Madrasa Bogra. And collaborated to move many organizations forward. Such as Al Markazul Islami As Salafi, Rajshahi and Mahila Salafiya Madrasa, Rajshahi.
